Project Cabin

Here's a picture of the Project Cabin "before." The log walls were built by campers in 1949. The blue plastic on the floor is the remains of porcupine destruction of the mattresses. There are a few rotten roof boards, a few leaks, and an 8" sag in the floor. We are all very optimistic! On Friday Nov 11 Terry and Tim plan to tarp the roof & replace the windows. Dave Barbour and I will start to work on stove and pipe. Then on Sunday Nov 13 Russ and Gene will replace and level the front floor. It should be habitable for this season, and we can finish the job right for the following year. Gene has great ideas for an outhouse.
