Winter is Back

Well, those of us who believe Anna's emails got a fine day of skiing today. We started with a thin base but good surface, and at midday things improved with an inch or two of powder presented in classic breezy whiteout style. Pictures below are Terry doing a telemark at Grand Central Station on Rickie's old/new Asnes Tur-Langen woodies, and snow blowing across the Essick House fields at the Allegheny Front.

Things should remain good all week, with a bit more snow predicted for most days.

Telemark Clinic Rescheduled

If there is enough snow for the resort to be open, the telemark clinic will be held February 17, 9am-4pm.

Cost is $5 to CLSA and a trail pass is required.  Bring metal edge skis and a willingness to have some fun learning this cool turn from expert Kevin O'shea.

Ski Chase rescheduled

We're going to try one more time to get mother nature to cooperate with our ski race. The new date is February 23. See the Ski Chase article below for all the details
